This aircraft was devloped as a joint project of the US and UK to finally create a multi-role aircraft that could replace the English Electric Canberra, as the BAC TSR2 and the General Dynamics F-111K weren't able to, the F-114 at a glance looks like a miny Concorde, thats becuase it is, BAC was helping with developemnt on the Concorde, the aircraft was built by Republic an American company so it's nickname is of an american wine becuase the Concorde was named after a wine, only about 35-37 airframes were produced and instead of being put into various roles it ostly served as an interceptor warding off Soviet Bombers (actiavtor 1 for douge chute, activator 2 for landing lights)
