The F-4X is a modified McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II reminiscent of current stealth aircraft, such as the F-22 Raptor. Among other things, the plane can now be flown effectively by a single person. This version is armed with 4x AAM-80 "Sledgehammer" air-to-air missiles for long range interception and 6x AAM-100/AAM-5M Guardian II, boasting improved performance over the standard Guardian missile. The F-4X is also armed with a 20mm M63A4 rotary cannon starboard of the cockpit.
