BAS-1
The predecessor of the BAS-2, the BAS1 is a "Bomber air support" Strike aircraft. Originally designed to be a twin-engine fighter, the powerful engine permitted further development, resulting in the strike model. they made a choice to make it a bomber escorts and be a bomber it self so if a bomber goes down 2 or three will complete the mission,Most bomber groups in South dexat (my fictional nation) liked the BAS due to its modular design and ease of maintenance, with most components being easily accessible behind few bolts. This resulted in remarkably high readiness rates, earning a reputation for reliability. 10k was made in total most are still in service but some are retired or scrapped due to extensive damage and some made it even to museums and air shows.

Fixing that.
The predecessor of the BAS-2, the BAS1 is a "Bomber air support" [Strike aircraft?]. Originally designed to be a twin-engine fighter, the powerful engine permitted further development, resulting in the strike model.
Most bomber groups of Southern Dexat (my fictional nation) [Southern Dexat sounds like a region, South Dexat sounds like a country] liked the BAS due to its modular design and ease of maintenance, with most components being easily accessible behind few bolts. This resulted in remarkably high readiness rates, earning a reputation for reliability. Around 100,000 aircraft [GOOD LORD, that would be the most produced aircraft by a factor of over two!] were built in total. Most surviving aircraft are still in service but some are retired, were scrapped due to extensive damage, or were acquired by museums and air shows.
