About Icelandair:
Icelandair is the flag carrier of Iceland, with its corporate head office on the property of Reykjavík Airport in the capital city Reykjavík. It is part of the Icelandair Group and operates to destinations on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean from its main hub at Keflavík International Airport. The geographical position of Iceland is convenient for one-stop transatlantic flights via the Atlantic Bridge route, which is one pillar of the airline's business strategy, along with traffic to, from, and within the country.

About TF-ICE:
TF-ICE was the first Boeing 737-8 MAX to be delivered to Icelandair, all the way back in March(?) of 2018. The reason why this specific aircraft type was delivered to the Icelandic airline is because the airline wanted to expand its fleet & enhance its pre-existing route network, and also open many opportunities for planned expansion into the future. This type of aircraft also saw a refined version of the livery that was seen on Icelandair’s 757’s and 767’s, with a grey bottom and text-less tail design. It was later changed to the current 2022 livery. This aircraft is named ”Jökulsárlón” after the glacial lake in the southern part of Vatnajökull National Park in Iceland.
This specific aircraft had its first flight in 7/2/2018, is currently 7.1 years old, and was tested at Renton Municipal Airport (RNT/KRNT), with the test registration N1786B. The MSN is 44353, and its line number is 6792.
