The Soviets, running out of ideas to crush rebellions and such, resorted to making a new jet production line. They created the Sukhoi jets. Initially designated as strike craft, they evolved into air-superiority fighters. The initial prototype, designated Su-00, was not very successful during its production and testing phase (1948-1949). It had many flight issues, including burning engines and wings tearing apart above 300mph. The Su-01 (1951-1953), however, rectified many issues, with reinforced wings and air intakes directly on the two engines along with the front primary intake. It is armed with 2 30mm cannons and 4 7.62mm machine guns. It has 4 Guardian AAMs and 4 250lb bombs for ground strike capabilities. So, based on its high maneuverability, it is combat ready and will be proposed to the tournament being held for this challenge. Don't be fooled by its 500mph top speed, it's still maneuverable and nimble. Enjoy!
