As 128 "Dagger II"
Title : As 128.
Type : Fighter .
short description
Single-seat twin-engine 5-th gen fighter . Fast and agile, capable of doing well in maneuverable combat. Thanks to its unstable layout and 3d thrust vector it easily performs PSM.
history
The aircraft was developed in 2018 on the basis of the experimental fighter "As 15 Dagger". The characteristics of the predecessor were already known to be amazing, but it also had some problems, which have been corrected in this version. The plane received a profound modernization. One important component of this was a vastly improved low signature, a much better control system, and a different rendition and composition of weapons. Another improvement for stealth, besides the hull shape, was the lack of stabilizers.
The first "Dagger" was not put into production, due to the high cost and the presence of a large number of problems. The second one corrected all these problems and greatly improved the performance. This plane was put into mass production, despite its high cost. The combat qualities of this aircraft compensated for the cost of production and maintenance.
control
Standard SP plane control.
Ag 1 = Disable the stabilization Mode. On PSM Mode.(1)
Ag 3 = Dump the weapon bays.
Ag 4 = Drag chute.
Ag 5 = Open weapon bays.
(1) Stabilization mode: Mode in which the aircraft controls try to keep the angle of attack and glide close to zero. It limits maneuverability. An important part of the artificial stability mode(2).
(2) Artificial Stability Mode: Mode in which an unstable airplane tries to maintain a set course, regardless of the angle of attack and glide.
Simply put, with AG 1 on, the plane flies like any plane with a normal set of stabilizers. With it off, it does not try to take a "zero" position and allows the PSM to engage.

some instructions
- When AG1 is disabled, the airplane can acquire undesirable sliding angles. This must be taken into account when piloting. This is not a very comfortable mode for normal flight at all. It is advisable to turn it on only in combat, or if you need a PSM.
- The aircraft has a "flutter threshold" that increases with altitude due to an imperfect code. This is not very good for the plane and the flight as a whole. The easiest way to get rid of it is to reduce the thrust. Or gain altitude.
- It is not necessary to open the missile compartment to fire. But I do recommend it.
- The airplane is not precisely balanced in terms of the center of thrust. There is a trimmer for this, which works for the engines as well.
- The airplane has a 3D thrust vector as the MAIN method of flight control. Yes, I have duplicated all systems with aerodynamics, but I don't recommend dropping the thrust below 25%. The airplane can become poorly controlled.
- Because of the layout, the plane is difficult to land. Be very careful.
