Tilt Rotor (Amphibious)
This is my Osprey like amphibious tiltrotor. Group 1 controls the collective/pitch, and group 2 controls the tiltrotor. So to takeoff, go to full throttle, then select group 1 and slide the VTOL selector up just a little bit until she starts to lift off. Once you have enough altitude, then select group 2. At this point the rotors will tilt just a bit and she'll start to move forward. My personal technique, is to then go all the way up with the VTOL selector and let it go into full forward speed. To land, I leave 1 & 2 selected and slowly bring the VTOL selector to neutral. Once the rotors are straight up I deselect group 2 and land with group 1 selected. Also helps to put throttle at 75%. Try a water landing first. Wings tend to break off with hard landings
