@Tang0five thanks for the review, the yaw was inflicted by some unbalanced drag (nothing to do with me gov) that SP decided it should have, i couldnt remove it so countered it with an increase of power on one engine of 0.1..... the bomb bay was a bit of a fudge, i wanted it to rotate around the horizontal axis by 180 thus bombs where outside but it wouldnt play ball. I dont envy you that extending oleo for the F4, ive not had any luck with pistons (see my egg plane) they just break in flight, apparently you can XML edit them to not break but ive tried and still not succeeded, would have looked awesome though with the massive nose high attitude. Ive not done much on the stripes yet, I got the fury ready for the camo panels and roundels etc but cba hence the big bomber build =)
First off, love it! Saw the flag and had to sit perfectly in a state of attention until the full duration of God save the Queen had abided! Yeah flies nicely on low settings and clever use of a different AG for gear doors that does smarten things up a bit. Flight has (and this is in the lowest of the low settings on a iPad the 3rd world looks on as that of “peasant folk”) a slight tendency to drift in the yaw axis. Clever clam shell speed breaks do work a treat and look nice! Working on a f4 RN version and having pesky issues with the extending nose oleo..... got it working bang on for it to be no use for use as landing gear as it’s too weak and juttering about the place when stationary. After many hours I’ve decided to dispense with the extending oleo. I got it working on high settings however traction settings were upsetting it, but you remove forward traction of a front wheel and the bloody things try’s to pirouette it’s way down the tarmac. Lovely work on your builds as ever - how’s the stripes coming along? I don’t envy you that task. I wrapped on my sea hawks wings stripes. Fiddly as hell!
@tang0five do you fancy testing this for me, see if it runs on your tablet and what issues you can find before general release. If you have ever seen the yanky F117 shitehawk with the flag under you will realise where my inspiration came from =)
