The SRT02 was the first car Spectre Racing Team built which qualified in every race it entered. Over the course of 1982, the SRT02 proved to be one of the most consistent midfield cars, frequently finishing between P9 and P14. It also scored a 5th place in Belgium, but Philipe Emilio recieved a disqualification when his car was found to be nearly 100 pounds underweight. The car used an Alfa Romeo V12. Contrary to popular belief, the SRT02 Had nothing in common with the Keniss T11, and any similar design cues were simply coincidental
