This is a replica of a US B-17 Flying Fortress bomber, and I made it as in WW2 one of these huge machines sadly crashed into a park very near where I live. Despite it being a very sad story, the pilot (John Kriegshauer) went to incredible measures just to steer the wrecked plane with engine failiure above a house and past some playing children into a hill. His parents recieved his purple heart medal. I hope you enjoy the plane, although it does take off like a drowning potato!

Cool story. One thing you gotta keep in mind about B-17s is the wheel structure is like a reverse tricycle.
The plane had 10 members of crew and even a rear gunner in the blue section at the back of the plane.
