Inspired by many plane I saw, including the ADF-1 Falken from Ace Combat.

KAI/X-15A "Gemini"

Kola Arm Industries, Experiental No.15 Variant A, Gemini

Description

Gemini is a Unmanned Long Range Aviation Vehicle, or ULRAV developed by Obelia Empire, with some technologies brought from It's ally, Irilon Order. Manufactured by Kola Arm Industries as a successor of D.M-16X "Skyknight", Gemini become the most advanced plane in Obelia Empire arsenal. It also a direct answer for the Confederation's advanced Iron Knight fighter that the Empire isn't lose yet in the sky. It has stealth capability with huge arsenal of weapon. It's also carrier based aircraft, complete with hook and folding wing. The design influenced both by It's predecessor, Skyknight and It's rival, Iron Knight, trying to gain advantage from both plane.

Gemini is Unmanned, but piloted by 2 human pilots far in Control Center, and hence called Gemini, or The Twin. One human pilot will act
as a spotter, controlling camera using helmet planted monitor, like a VR. And other one control the plane using monitor that show frontal camera and spotter's POV. It also have an AI, the AI act as a secondary pilot if pilot's connection cut off. Human pilots will control the plane from command center. Command center could be a aircraft carrier, HQ or even a special aircraft. It has connection range about 4000km, with fuel capacity of 3000km. Without any human pilot, the plane could manuever as crazy as possible without worrying the pilot suffered from G-Force. Pilot also safe from capture if the plane shot down. The pilot using helm that connected to a 360° cameras placed around plane's cockpit, allowing him to look as much as normal manned plane pilot do, so visibility isn't a problem here. The AI is a new technology used for the aircraft. The AI act as a pilot assistant, and secondary pilot. If the human pilot connection gone, the AI will take over the plane until new connection established, reducing the risk of losing all squadron from a single destruction of a command center. Gemini also bring many Air-to-Air missiles, 14 missiles in total, RK/M-1s, RK/S-1s, and RK/M-2s, It also capable carrying an external weapon bay for more weapon.

However, Gemini didn't came without a flaw. Most flaw coming from It's Unmanned feature. It has limited range, all airbases must equipped with control center to establish sonnections with the plane. Same pilot can't control the same plane that sent into other airbase. The destruction of a control center also mean disconnection to all squadron from that center, AI control isn't reliable to dogfight, and will took a long time for Emergency Control Plane to come into action. Damage on the camera of the plane also quite fatal, it could made the pilot basically blind. Camera interference also become a serious problem, so most of the maintenance focused on the camera to keep it in perfect condition.

How To Fly This Thing

Take Off
Simply Throttle Up, and pitch up until you're flying

Fly
Normal plane control, VTOL for flap, Trim for Trim.
AG1-2 to activate weapons
AG5 to activate lights
AG6 to activate hooks
AG7 for air refueling
AG8 to unfold wing, keep active when flying
Throttle above 90% to activate afterburner

Landing
Slowly approach ranway, brake when you about to touch the ground until the plane stop
