HT-2

"The HT-2 is a major improvement over the predecessor, the IS-2. It is more comfortable to sit in and fires more accurately than those Soviet Guns!"
-Corp. Leman of the 34th Armoured Division

After salvaging some disabled IS-2s, the wrecks were sent to Malay Corps for major buffs in all aspects, particularly the gun itself, as it was a Soviet Gun, and Soviet Guns aren't that accurate... the engine is good, but not good enough for the tank to accelerate, armor is garbage in their opinion, transmission is severely limited, and a few other flaws...
With that being said, the IS-2 starts to get upgraded. The frontal hull armour has been reworked and buffed from the measly 100mm of armour thickness to a whopping 175mm of said armour. Cabin width was increased so that the crew have more mobility inside the tank itself, making their assignments easier and they wouldn't be cramped inside as much as the IS-2. Side armor of the tank was buffed until 150mm of thickness, allowing the tank to sidescrape with maximum effectiveness, bouncing most shots.
The tracks are fitted with 25mm of sideskirts to absorb HE, protecting the tank from the explosive filler of the HE. Engine is buffed from a diesel-powered 12-cylinder Model V-2 engine with 600hp to an M-1 engine, capable of producing a whopping 950hp and 1 300ft/lbs of torque. Transmission was buffed to accommodate the power of the tank, having 8 gears, 5 forward and 3 backwards, giving a top speed of 42mph and 24mph respectively. Turret armour is buffed from a measly, but effective ballistic shaped turret with 100mm of max armour to 250mm towards the front, 200mm at the sides and 175mm at the back, the turret hatch is much more flush, and has a max thickness of 125mm. The gun was improved from a powerful, yet inaccurate 122mm D-25t to similarly powerful, but more accurate 105mm K-5 gun capable of firing a APHE shell at a max penetration of 310mm of armour, with a 60g explosive filler, whilst firing the gun at a steady 8 rounds a minute. The traverse of the tank and turret are 30°s and 32°s respectively
There are four crewmen inside the tank, the gunner, the commander/radio operator, the loader and the driver. The first three crewmen are situated at the turret and the driver, situated near the front of the tank. Engine is situated at the back, fuel is located below the turret, at the base of the tank, transmission are at the front and back of the tank, ammo is located just below the turret and the radio at the back of the turret.
