LORE:
In the decade of 2040, a group of Japanese scientists, military experts and engineers devised a plan to protect the newly allied Asian countries.
The plan was to build mobile aerial motherships that could service and deploy aircraft, simmilar to an aircraft carrier.
There were seaborne supercarriers deployed already and many airborne cruisers and destroyers under construction, so the technology was already mature enough for carriers.
But Japan lacked the manpower to build such a massive vessel, so the team went to a newly constructed Chinese airship shipyard to build the craft.
Due to the extreme quality control required, the only carrier that was built - almost never got commissioned.
By the time the project was nearing its finish, the 2050 continental war had already broken out, and the forces of continental America were pushing deeper and deeper into Asia and the Chinese mainland.
The newly launched aerial battlecruisers CHANGBAI and FUJI were able to wipe the floor with the first wave of attackers in Fujian, but they were hopeless against the new American aerial battleships that were recently brought online.
They were barely able to halt the Americans' progress at the city of Fujian. A stalemate period then ensued.
But this stalemate was critical as it allowed the TAIHOU to be finished and launched, it joined the battle at Fujian, and started to slowly regain lost ground in Asia.
Progress was extremely slow, but the combined might of all the East Asian countries were able to push the American Continents' forces back past Alaska.
During the time the Americans had brought online their own aerial motherships.
During the battle for Vancouver, the American forces launched their 2 aerial motherships as an effort to stop the Asian forces. The TAIHOU was able to take down one though at the cost of heavy damage to its systems.
.
.
These are the final transmissions from the bridge of the TAIHOU:
"Captain! The enemy is releasing another wave of aircraft! What do we do? This ship can't stay in the air for much longer!"
"Tell the remaining fighters to deploy and evacuate the ship!"
"Power is dropping below 20 percent."
*sounds of escape pods launching
"Taihou is there any crew still stranded on the ship?"
(Computer voice) "Life scanner malfunctioning, faint life signals remain on the ship."
"My dear crew, I’m sorry that I failed being your captain, but I will gladly serve among you again in all of my next lives! "
"All remaining power to engines! May the great phoenix lead these lost souls to a happier place."
*Engines rev up and soon later loud noises are heard before the recording cuts out.

Massive beauty. But I'm now interested in the aerial battleship the US got. Wonder what their form would be, would it be like PW aerial cruisers?
This is really cool!!!!!

I just noticed. Upvotes dont reload the page now, so after I upvoted, I commented that. It showed that I had upvoted first, until after I submitted the comment.

MOUSE WAS HERE FIRST!
Edit: reloading the page with this comment showed that I was not first, in upvoting, but second. However, I believe I was still first to the build, as I actually took a minute to read the description first, as this looked like a cool build.
