Model 39 Hush Puppy
A military variant of the Smith and Wesson Model 39, used by US Navy SEALS. The Model 39 is the first double-action pistol marketed in the United States. It was a breakthrough pistol for the acceptance of semi-automatic pistols among US law enforcement, as the Illinois State Police adopted it in 1967. It would pave the way for future semi-automatic pistols, such as the high-capacity Model 59. This particular model has most of the modifications, but retains the original 8-shot capacity versus the 13-shot capacity of the Mk 22 and it's Hi-Power magazine. The primary modifications include a provision for a shoulder stock, a threaded barrel to accept a suppressor, and raised iron sights so they could be used with the suppressor.
In the C&C Roleplay, the Model 39 is the standard-issue sidearm of the Paternian Armed Forces, designated M39. It replaced the .45 caliber M1911A1, since those with smaller hands, such as women, could not use the M1911A1 effectively due to its large size and high recoil. The M39's slimmer frame and more manageable recoil, combined with the fact that the 9mm Parabellum cartridge, with high-velocity ammunition, could produce as much stopping power as the .45 with less recoil and greater capacity.

More "inherited feature for all to follow."
Browning found that the 11 degree grip angle was most ergonomic, and pretty much everyone making a pistol copied it, seeing how successful Browning's designs were. Every pump-action shotgun, lever-action rifle, semi-automatic shotgun, over-under double-barrel shotgun, heavy machine gun, and semi-automatic pistol made today owes some credit to him. He made "pump-action" and "shotgun" synonymous with each other, made lever-action guns that can use modern rifle ammunition, put slides on pistols, taught the world that putting the barrels on top of each other makes a better shotgun, and redefined what a heavy machine gun was.
Also the two guns that served longest in US service (the M2 Browning and M1911 pistol) were designed by him, including their cartridges. @TemDesBur
@Pilotmario Wow. Is it like a set of standards that it has to reach to make it a decent military pistol. Or more of a inherited feature that all things from that on followed?
No problem! Take note of the grip angle; it's the same on the Beretta.
It was also the same on the M1911 model i made. Why? Because every modern pistol was in some form, inspired by the M1911 in form and function. Even Glocks share the Browning tilting barrel lockup, a slide, and a grip angle 11 degrees from the vertical. Yes, that is how John M. Browning was in semiautomatic pistol design. He introduced direct blowback, tilting-barrel short-recoil, all the ACP cartridges, a slide, and the 11 degree grip angle. @TemDesBur
@Pilotmario Thanks! I will mention you in the comments.
Cool! Feel free to use the 9mm cartridge I made for the Hush Puppy as scaling. @TemDesBur
I'm making an M9 Berreta style gun now
I'm sure you have your fair share of stocked pistols. @YuukaNeko
@Pilotmario Ayaa!
@YuukaNeko I heard you like tacticool stuff. So here's some tacticool stuff.
