For the SP Ultralight Challenge!

Created to be a very small and cost-effective ultralight, the Sunwing Ultralight was plagued by flight issues due largely to the rear engine placement. Without being able to come up with a conventional solution without making the plane to heavy to fly or incredibly expensive, the plans were almost scrapped. However, the designers found a solution using the flaps to generate the necessary lift to counteract flight issues. The plan worked, and the Sunwing went on sale, marketed as an affordable and conveniently sized airplane to bring air travel to the average consumer.

Don’t press landing gear, or your plane will not land in one piece.
VTOL down for stable flight capacity

PLANE WILL NOT FLY WITHOUT VTOL DOWN
