Hold the micro-part (needle-like) at the bottom of the Roundel, lift it up (move/drag the ''mouse'' to the upper-right corner of your screen). Save it as one of your sub-assemblies, and then you could stick it onto your planes! To mirror the Roundel, you will have to mirror each part on it.
