Production started in late 1941, and ended in 1954, 1 year after the war.

The biggest buyer after USA internal demand, was Japan, with ~4000 TB-5 A1 bought.

the Japanese version was built by Nakajima, named :Nakajima-Counvas TB-5 A2. (this one)
