Drakon Naval Jaeger-IV Class (LNS Ragnarok)

4,977 DrakonDynamics  2.6 years ago

The world is at war. Yuktobania and the Leathes are on a rampage and the war has made it too close to home. The LNS Emperor has been crippled and both the LNS Salvation and the Kraken are away, thousands of miles out at sea. Without support, the mainland will fall. That is where the Ragnarok comes in. It was not meant to be deployed this early, but the Lykanians had no other choice. Armed with an even more powerful railgun than the Jaeger-IIIs, powerful autocannons, laser weaponry, and anti-air, this beast lives up to its name: the annihilation of the enemy. While it will not replace any Jaeger-IIIs at the moment, this ship will surpass anything the Lykanians have created. Only the war will tell if the Lykanians are right.

Hey, guys. I'm back with another build and, honestly, this is one of my best. I'm really proud of how this turned out, especially since I hand-drew the design myself. This ship is meant to be the successor to the Jaeger-III, as the story suggests, but was deployed early as the Lykanians were on the defensive. The build is really simple and isn't hard to use. Here is everything you need to know before you use it.

The ship is really easy to maneuver. Throttle will let you accelerate. The ship can reach a top speed of about 69 mph without steering. Unlike my other ships, this one's balance is incredible and will not tip over or sink unless destroyed. Yaw will allow you to steer. Unlike my other builds, the steering is really responsive and successful. Never knew gyros could be so helpful. Now, for the activation groups.

Groups 1, 2, and 3 are all unused. You can bind these into whatever you add.

Group 4 will activate your missiles. Both air-to-air and cruise. Trim down to open the cell hatches. The missiles don't require you to look at your target and are really good at doing their job.

Group 5 will activate the Anti-Aircraft laser weaponry. It does not have auto-lock so it can be a little difficult to use. But once you track a target, it is sure to come down. Out of 50 attempts, I was able to bring down 5 planes manually. I'm currently figuring out a way to make an auto-lock mechanism. VTOL will move the turret left and right, while Trim will move it up and down.

Group 6 will activate the autocannons. These can be used to take out aircraft, but it is also difficult as they are manual. They have an incredible fire rate and are deadly at close range. There is one on each side, though only one has a camera. VTOL will move the turret left and right, while Trim will move it up and down.

Group 7 will activate the main gun. The famed Lykanian Railgun. This gun has a decent fire rate, but the damage makes up for it. It has taken out every ship in the game in one shot. VTOL will move the turret left and right, while Trim will move it up and down.

Group 8, as it is auto-enabled at the start of the game, controls the lights. They can be disabled at any time, of course.

That is it for the controls. The rest is up to you. Here is a gallery of the LNS Ragnarok. Thanks for checking out my build.
