GJ-11 UAV, codenamed Sword drone, is a large stealth unmanned attack aircraft designed by Shenyang Aircraft Design and Research Institute of the People's Republic of China and produced by Hongdu Aviation Industry Group. It adopts a wing layout and a stealth low flow loss serpentine intake duct. The aircraft has a length of 12.2 meters, a height of 2.7 meters, and a wingspan of 14.4 meters


The Lijian UAV project was launched in 2009, with the first aircraft taken offline on December 13, 2012, and ground testing began thereafter. The advanced low reflection stealth intake duct of the aircraft underwent a more than month long test drive and engine matching test on the vehicle platform in May 2013. At around 13:00 on November 21, 2013, the Lijian unmanned combat attack aircraft successfully completed its first flight at a test flight center in Southwest China. This also marks China as the fourth country, after the United States, France, and the United Kingdom, to successfully complete the first flight of a dedicated unmanned combat aircraft.
