History: In early 1944, Germany needed a medium tank to stand up to the American Pershing medium tank. Instead of creating an entirely new one, the German designers decided to improve upon an existing design. For this, they chose the Panther, and so three companies submitted designs. Günther-Schmitt, Von Krupp, and Fernstein (both Fernstein and Gunther-Schmitt are made up, FYI). The Von Krupp and Gunther-Schmitt designs were selected and wooden mock-ups of both were created. Then, Porsche came and showed the German commanders the Pz.VI Ausf.B, and soon after the concept designs for the Panther Ausf.K were locked away.

Ya. Somebody needs to start a rant in the forums about it. @DestinyAviation
I very much agree with you on that @Destroyer5713
AN THIS IS WHY WE NEED TANK TRACKS!! The Panther is my FAVORITE WWII tank and I see lots of good ones but the have crazy part counts because of hyper-realistic tracks! WE NEED TRACKS!
I most likely will, but I'm not sure yet. @XxcreedexX
Oh this isn't a teaser. I just forgot to put wheels on it and then was too lazy to ovput them on ;) @XxcreedexX
