Pilatus PC-A22
Ground Attack / COIN Aircraft
After the 2022 Russian-Ukraine war, many European nations started building up arms in fear of rolling Russian tanks. This is a modern ground-attack version made by the Pilatus aircraft company of Switzerland by modification from their successful Pilatus PC9, and PC12 trainer aircraft. Multiple vertical stabilizers were added to get more stability with the large weapon load. Powered by a very reliable Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67P turboprop engine. Entered in service in 2025 with the Swiss army and received 42 orders from Polish Airforce.
Armament:
1) One gun pod loaded with a mini Gatlin gun
2) 4x inferno guided missiles
3) 4x unguided 500kg Bombs
5) 1 rocket pod (7 unguided rockets)
