M.Corp BOV-AA SPAAG
M.Corp BOV-AA is an SPAAG developed by merging modernised Zastava M55 with a new M.Corp BOV-X scout car, development of Yugoimport BOV made after M.Corp has acquired those companies. It was produced in a small series as a replacement for obsolete BOV-3, with a purpose of providing ground troops with a defence from low flying aircraft. It is also highly effective as a fire support system.
Design:
Turret:
M-55RC is a successor to Zastava M55, featuring the same gun layout. Caliber is increased from 20mm to 25mm, and the turret is remotely operated. It features four infrared guided or three radar guided missiles, search radar capable of spotting a helicopter-sized target at 10km, and an aiming radar capable of tracking a target up to 7km away. It also has opto-electronic sight for day and night shooting with a laser rangefinder.
Its three guns have a combined theoretical rate of fire of 2200 rounds per minute. They are fed from 60 round drums placed outside the turret, on top of guns. Maximum effective range is 3000m.
Vehicle:
BOV-X is development of Yugoimport BOV made after M.Corp has purchased Yugoimport. It is amphibious and has good off-road performance.
Armor of BOV-X can withstand hits from 25mm gun from the front and 14.5mm from all sides. It also offers limited protection from mines and IEDs. In this version, due to heavy turret, the vehicle is unstable in the water and using it for amphibious operations is unrecommended. It is also susceptible to flippin in tight turns, requiring a careful handling.
Features:
- Realistic design;
- Custom independent suspension;
- Custom reticle;
- Realistic performance, including flipping over in high speed turns;
- Custom rims;
- Accurate details, including NBC protection system intake, engine intake, and exhaust.
Controls:
Because of the need to have the turret on Pitch + Roll, this vehicle uses different control scheme:
- VTOL + Yaw - steering;
- Pitch + Roll + Cockpit view - aiming;
- AG1 - lights;
- AG2 + Yaw + Throttle - water steering.

@EternalDarkness Thanks 🙏🙏
@ccc12345 sure.
Hi bro don't be tired
Can I use the shock absorber system of your design?
@JayAr no problem.
@EternalDarkness Oh tnx man
@JayAr my way is to add highly buoyant planks to the waterline. Gyroscope could get the job done too. And make sure you don't have buoyancy under the waterline.
@EternalDarkness Hey dude Im back and pls can you teach me how to balance a ship? Cause my ship rolls sideways
@Mnecraft543 this
@EternalDarkness maybe you should have an airborne division of M.Corp
@typeZERO lol
SPAAGhetti.... :3
Meanwhile dealing with vietnam-era kill probabilities
Ahhhhhh...
@EternalDarkness I will change the color of the parts I don’t like and put it in discord with an @
@EliteArsenals24 thanks
@Aeroman77 if you manage to hit them. It's difficult to hit a plane from the ground. But it also has missiles.
Very Nice!
@Tank6376 lol. Can you point out parts of it that you don't like? I'm not being sarcastic here, I'd really like some feedback. There's another version of this chassis coming, and I want to make it more likeable.
@Dllama4 no problem.
@M4A4Firefly thanks.
Not bad
Thanks for entering.
@SPCWorkshops it's not in my contest. It's in Dllama4's contest.
submits design Into own contest. wins own contest @EternalDarkness
@Kaos Othawne made it on my request.
@Mostly SAM tubes were a quick improvisation. I was having second thoughts about adding them, and then went for a simplest design possible. I have kept top-heaviness of BOV-3, since this is based on it. Zastava M55 guns don't have noticeable recoil, so I didn't bother with that either. Thanks for noticing cooldown. It is in accurate intervals, although it should be ten minutes, not seconds. I thought that would kill the fun, so I shortened it. Reticle, well, I was a bit lazy to scale it :)
