Auto Credit Based on SturerEmil's XF-40 V-3
(Fictional History) The NF-96 A-3 is a later development of the otherwise unremarkable F-96 A-3 Interceptor. the key difference is a change in Nose Cone to allow the Installation of the SCR-720 Radar (the same one on the P-61), as well as a change in engines. The original Engine was the Pratt & Whitney R2800-65W Double Wasp, which was replaced with a high altitude modification of the Armstrong Siddeley Python.
