Designed in late 1948 as a fighter-bomber private venture by the Aerostyle Aviation company, the Model 606A was a small, nimble, and potent aircraft. It was armed with four wing-mounted hard-points and two 20mm cannons in the nose, making it a deadly interceptor and ground attack aircraft. On March 17, 1951, the first flight-worthy prototype took flight. It was later joined by two sister aircraft. Each was armed with different loadouts; The 606A was armed with two rocket pods and two bombs; The 606B was armed with four air-to-air missiles; And finally, the 606C was armed with four bombs. On January 18, 1962, the three aircraft were flying in formation when the 606B had an engine malfunction. This caused the engine to overheat and explode, sending debris into the other two aircraft. The pilot of the 606C was forced to eject soon after, while the 606A pilot successfully landed the damaged plane back at the airfield. The pilot of the 606B was killed instantly. After the incident, it was decided to cancel the program. However, in 1958 the program was restarted, and in 1959 the first production 606A aircraft entered service. The original 606A was repaired and now sits on display at the Aerostyle Military Archive Museum in Illinois.

No it’s got a pretty realistic turn rate. Maybe the climb rate is too much but this is simepleplanes and I can climb to 20,000ft in 30 seconds with a prop aircraft hahahaha @DestinyAviation
@Mustang51 Thank you! Lol, I thought the handling was too good
I also like how realistic the handling is - superb
Whoa this is a really great build! It reminds me of a Dassault Mystère
