The RA-1, often called swoop due to its wing design, was the first aircraft built by Crusader Aircraft, the company that replaced Brummbar Heavy Industries. The RA-1 Had a crew of 3, the pilot, the navigator and the rear gunner. Due to its slow speed and horrible manuverability, air forces often used the RA-1 as a recon aircraft or a slow torpedo bomber. The RA-1 served as a test bed for future Crusader Aircraft designs.
