Designed and manufactured in 2025 by Fly-by Dynamics for the Solorain Navy, the X-F/A-43A is a top secret stealth, low observability air superiority fighter. It was made to counter the FADX-03 Specter made by the Republic Of Lyria that was posing a servere threat to the defense of the country as well as Soloria's military force, and because the FADX-03 is also a stealth, low observability fighter, Soloria's older aircraft couldn't match the FADX-03. When Solorian spies discovered the new aircraft Republic Of Lyria announced, they alerted the armed forces of the new threat. When the contract for a new aircraft to counter the FADX-03 was announced to the major Solorian aircraft manufacturers, two designs stood out; Orbit Aviation's X-F-42 Panther, And this, Fly-by Dynamics's X-F/A-43 Shadow Falcon. These designs stood out because they excelled in maneuverability, size, and last but not least, armament. The X-F-42 used 4 R/A-45s long range stealth missiles and 2 older R/A-30s inside the weapons bay. The X-F/A-43 used 4 R/A-43 long-range stealth missiles and 4 R/A-36s inside, along with a targeting pod with a laser gun in it. While Orbit Aviation's design was faster and smaller than Fly-by Dynamic's aircraft, the Solorian Navy chose the latter mainly because of it's increased maneuverability, its wide range of applications, and its stealthiness. Orbit Aviation's design was not suitable for air-to-ground application, while Fly-by Dynamic's was.

The X-F/A-43 also contained a self destruct button that could be activated remotely, in case it got into enemy hands. (which is very unlikely.) The Shadow falcon also can supercruise. it has an afterburner that enables automatically when exceeding 95% throttle, and is the first fighter to use electronic control surfaces (roll only), rather than having physical ones. The Shadow falcon also has a very low IR footprint, making it hard to track with heat-seeking missiles. The jet had a powerful radar, has a range of over 120 miles and can track multiple targets simultaneously.
It is capable of detecting and tracking small, low-observable targets such as stealth aircraft.
The radar's range can be reduced in high-clutter environments like over cities or in mountainous terrain. If the pilot needs to use extra engine power for whatever reason, they just have to press AG6- which pops off the nose cone and reveals a extra intake. (compromising some stealth.) . It also has a dogfighting mode (AG4), which increases manuverablility. The aircraft has some STOL capabilities, if the pilot activates AG4. At low speeds, with AG4 activated, The jet can do Post-Stall-Manuvers (PSM) with it's 3D Thrust vectoring. (TVC)
