By the start of the Chtengi Invasion, the Cougar H1 was heavily outdated. To refit them to fight modern MBTs, Rem State Industry refitted one with a 120mm naval gun and a slightly more ergonomic and reactive turret in exchange for less armor. Despite this, it never saw combat.
