Auto Credit Based on 997Carrera's [CLOSED] Early military jets challenge
Made by North American Aviation, it never got to even wind tunnel test. It was a proposed interceptor and on paper was very capable. Taking many things learned frkm the XB-70 program, they wanted a similar interceptor that could match the speed of the XB-70 and excel at intercepting enemy bombers. On paper, it could cruise at mach 3, have a combat radius of 1,200 miles, and could target missiles from 100 miles away. It was cancelled in 1959 but it could have been a formidable jnterceptor if made in the time period it was proposed in. No activated groups for this one. Have a good flight!
