Shikuda 520E
Reya Railworks Shikuda Series
This passenger electric multiple unit features all seat carriages, usually present on reserved seat trains or express trains.
Car 3 features a double decker configuration with panoramic windows on the upper level. Car 1 and 5 features observation seats at the end of the trainset.
Designed for hpgbproduction's North Railway as an express train. It's good here because of the small train car length.
Of course, runs well on Scratchoza's SPR map
Driving Experiences
Good acceleration, could-be-better braking performance.
Design top speed is about 130~140 km/h. Operational top speed is at 100 km/h (advised).
Since this train uses independently rotating wheel (IRW), it is prone to derailment when going too fast at curves and/or rough section.
Simple trains, no interior or doors.
Controls
AG1 : Engine + Pantograph
Trim : Throttle
Paint job is inspired by the Hakucho Limited Express train of the Japan Railway, serving from Aomori to Hakodate and vice versa, though now has been discontinued.
Easy way to tell which way you're facing is the front one has two pair of wheels under the car
