Nightingale 1 Prototype Stealth Plane

3,690 LjSpike  8.4 years ago

The Nightingale One, EABs first stealth aircraft. Designed for both air-to-ground and air-to-air engagements, the Nightingale is a very versatile stealth aircraft. Its body is made from laminations of aluminium, carbon fibre and beech wood, to enable rigidity and radar absorbption. It has heat dispersal panelling and cooling systems to disperse all heat upwards, away from ground radar. This Mark One Prototype has very low yaw axis stability, due to the lack of vertical control surfaces.
