Grand Bombard - [Self-Propelled Mortar]
My entry to SimpleFlow's Steam Punk Challenge
== Group 8
+ VTOL up to increase track tension, disable group 8 then put VTOL slider to the center position.
== Group 1
+ Throttle - to start the engines
+ Roll - to steer
+ Landing gear - to open and close tank doors
+ VTOL - Move secondary turrets right/left
+ Trim Slider - Move the mortar gun and secondary turrets up and veeery slightly down.
Mortar has 4 Boom-50 bombs. Just launch them like normal.
== The Improved Tracks
I built the tank solely to advertise its improved tracks. The tracks are simpler (only two parts used to create each slab), more durable, better at off-road terrain than the tracks I used in Wall-E. There are no unsightly corners when the tracks are fully stretched and IT CAN BE MIRRORED WITHOUT BREAKING!
Just a reminder though, tracks are still made of fuselage blocks so they explode when stressed too much. Dont go full power when going downhill and go easy on that steering wheel.
This tank can crawl hills up to 70 degrees and with correct driving can last a very long time without exploding (I managed to go from Egypt to Pyramids of ET in Maywar Island)

OOOOH THIS THING!
So good can climb any hill
@BoxGlow You don't mind If i can turn this hill climbing monster machine into this half-track off-road command conqueror? I'm just going to use the tracks and give you a follow, a spotlight, and an upvote, is that ok?
@BoxGlow Love the creation with all the mechanical parts and the design! But would it be possible that I use the cannon in one of my own creations? I'll give you full credit for the cannon. It's one of the only and certainly one of the most stylish Boom 50 cannons I could find!
Overall, good work!
AWESOME! And id doesnt lag even a bit on my shitty office laptop
BOOM
The winner is @BoxGlow
With his amazing creation
@BoxGlow thanks
@Hasdrouble i scaled down the largest jet engine to 25% then scaled its exhaust to make it normal width but 3 times longer. Colored its smore dark grey. Lastly, i set its maximum power to 0.00000001 so it wouldn't push the tank when it is active
@BoxGlow Alright then. Thank you a lot.
pretty cool. I used your mortar for my war truck. Also how did you build the smoke from the smokestack.
@JackAlpha26 no, you just need a file manager to access the jundroo folder and a simple text editor to edit the files
@BoxGlow Um... Thanks a lot for guiding me to info. For Android editing, to find the files I suppose I need ROOT too?
@JackAlpha26 i have marked some guides here
@JackAlpha26 you can also use this. The detachers i used there are 10 stronger (the detachers i used here are just about 3 times)
@BoxGlow I wanna ask a little about XML editing, does it need PC version? Also I have Unity, does that help? Your creations are really great with XML parts! So I think I should mess around and try something new too.
@BoxGlow I managed to get one of the bombs. It can work as a sub-assembly. I will try and see if I can get the base of the four bombs.
@TheLatentImage Thanks man!
Thank you!
@AndrewGarrison
@Unstable @24KGOLD @JShay thank you guys!!
@REW tighter tracks breaks easily. The tracks i used here is about the limit without sacrificing its integrity.
@JackAlpha26 sure! Do you intend to use the warhead or the entire cannon? Either way, you cannot mirror it or else the entire thing will break. If you wish to assign the bombs to an activation group edit the bomb (preferably via xml edit because the four bombs are nudged together)
:O It's sooooo amazing! Epic! The only pity is it lags on my phone:( BTW, can I use your landing gear control technology and mortar technology? If I apply them in my future builds I will credit you.
@BoxGlow I love this track.Can you make it tighter?
Too complex for me :) I have simple mind me only handle so much :) lol but it looks great and I'm sure it handles great too! Awesome work my friend!
