HSW XF/A-12 "Matador I"

3,136 HSAeroWerkes1  8.4 years ago

The "Matador" is a Multirole Generation 4++ fighter, destined to replace the aging F-190 "Genesis". The Matador comes armed with 4 AAM, 4 AGM, 14 Unguided Rocket Munitions (URM) and a heavily modified Vulcan Cannon in the nose (Caliber Classifed). The craft is powered by two after burning General Electric GBK/V.2 Turbofans, which propel it to a maximum speed of over Mach 2. The XF/A-12 platform is very cable in both air combat and ground attack roles, being that it has a high turn rate and yet is fairly stable. AG1: Afterburners AG2: Release Drop Tank AG3: Release URM Pods VTOL UP: AirBrake

@HSAeroWerkes1 Can you mention me in the comments of the post you found the mod on?

@FuryionAircraft Yeah it is. I wanted to download the air pollution mod also but the link was dead. I didn't know of many other mods to download other than maps

@HSAeroWerkes1 Huh, ok. Is that the only mod you use for building aircraft?

@XymaFuryion You might have downloaded the olderror version of it. There's a new version that got released about two months ago that allows you to scale Parts.

@HSAeroWerkes1 I downloaded the mod, but have no idea of how to resize parts with it.

@XymaFuryion The parts were also resized using the fine tuner mod

@HSAeroWerkes1 Also, how did you resize the parts?

@XymaFuryion Yes, it was done using the fine tuner mod. I realized that, the plane was meant to be a nice experimental design. Something I would update two or three times to work everything out. The exploding never happened to me though. The first update just got release, check it out and give me feedback.

Took this for a fly, seems incredibly unstable. I'm running it on a full physics low graphics setup on my laptop, but there is no trim and very wobbly pitch. It has also spontaneously combusted 3 times in 2 minutes, and has flipped out twice. Is this what happened when you were testing it? I still love the way it looks, but I think this should perform much better.

How did you get the parts rotated like that? Is that part of the Fine Tuner Mod?
