The Northrop Grumman E-2D+ Hawkeye is an upgraded version of the E-2D that included upgraded avionics, radars, and added an electronic warfare unit on the bottom of the aircraft. The E-2D+ was a venture between Northrop Grumman and Aceburn industries that was requested by the Central Caribenora Navy for a new AEW&C aircraft to replace the aging E-1 Tracer and the EH-3H Sea King, an AEW variant of the SH-3H, that served on the CCS Lernivo, a Lernivo-class Aircraft Carrier (which was a former Kitty Hawk-class Aircraft Carrier that was sold to them and had a nuclear reactor put in). They had 2 options, find a new AEW helicopter or try to acquire the E-2D Hawkeye. Since Central Caribenora is a good ally with the Delta Federation, acquiring the E-2 was no big deal. And after 2 years and a few scandals, the E-2D+ was born.
