Bee 1 recovered after incident A-4842, in which the engine and parachutes failed after release from Big Bertha. The plane slammed into the ground at a 45* angle. The engine was gone and guns were deemed unsalveagable. The pilot bailed and lived to tell the tale.. the landing was "bumpy" and 3 wings were bent out of place.
