Introduction

The original SAAB SK-37 Viggen is one of my favourite aircraft, so i wanted to play around with the airframe and see what i could do with it. The original Volvo engine had 125KN of thrust with reheat engaged (and weighs 5000lbs), modern engines like the Eurofighters EJ-200 have 90KN with reheat and are 2/3rds the size of the Volvo (and weigh a lot less at 2200lbs)... Logic / maths therefore dictates that two number EJ-200 engines will have 180KN of thrust while also being lighter, go figure. So the aircraft that was named lightning bolt is now faster.

I wanted to play with camo hence the pattern based from a picture i saw on youtube of a Mig 21. I didnt want to overload it with details as the part count was getting out of hand hence the lack of detailed cockpit (who looks here anyway?) etc.

It now also benefits from vectored thrust to get the nose up nice and early as well as reverse thrust for those short landings (careful here, AG1 needs to stay on as its set for AG2 to override the thrust of the base engines)
