History
A aviation company, Whifteen, was founded in 1920, mainly making airliners in United Kingdom.
At a attempt to make a fast propeller airliner in the 1950s to compete with the Vickers Viscount, the design had a notable feature of an iconic ugly cockpit, the captain, the co pilot was on the upper canopy, and a navigator was on the lower canopy
The prototype was from a HA-13 Wild Boar, which was heavily modified into the intended design airframe.
The first flight began in May 3, 1959
Upon tests, the technicians and the maintenance crew realized that the engines corroded upon too much rain, causing the engines to have lower performance and was dangerous.
The aircraft also had a issue with the airflow, due to the ugly canopy feature, the windows cracked due to poor manufacturing.
The aircraft was soon scrapped before any redesigns, and there was no orders for the aircraft, rendering the aircraft as a failure fully.
