So i discovered that pistons work well for ornithopters and here is my first piston ornithopter it might not look so impressive but give it a try and u will be i pressed by a simple mechanism used for this although it was not easy to make i got there eventually !

I thought I did have hinge rotators on dis thing well it’s more compact than the others ! also how are u doing on the ideas for the ornithopters did u manage to make one with my tutorial ?@LobsterBisque128
You could probably use a hinge rotator to make it more compact
