KW-62A-3
The KW-62A-3 is a light fighter produced by NJB for the KAF. The aircraft comes with the same engine, the JB-17, as the KW-61 series of fighter/interceptors. Since it is a light fighter, it has a small radar, preventing it from using NK-29 missiles, however, this small radar reduces weight and keeps the KW-62 maneuverable. The aircraft comes equipped with two NK-47C high off-boresight FOX-2 missiles and an M61 Vulcan supplied by the U.S. and has full countermeasures. As an improvement from the KW-61, the KW-62 comes with a mk.2 ejection seat, which has a one second delay of firing. With all this in mind, the KW-62 makes for a cheap, low maintenance, and easy to fly fighter, and is perfect for the export market.
Controls— VTOL down for flaps, and normal flight controls. Afterburner is at 90% and above and the ejection seat is launched by AG7 and the parachute deployed with AG6.
