The CAA-3 Javelina is an Iosian twinjet all-weather attack aircraft developed in the 1950's as both a carrier and ground based quick response aircraft. In service with the Iosian Navy and Marine Corps between 1962 and 2001, the Javelina was designed as an all-weather medium attack aircraft to replace the F11J Dolphin as Iosia's naval attacker. As the CAA-3 was scheduled for retirement, its close air support (CAS) mission was taken over by the CAA-15 Firerod and the A-24 Razorback. From the CAA-3, a specialized electronic warfare derivative, the ECAA-3 Blindside, was developed that is still in service.
