Le-14 Archipelago Explorer
Entrant into BogdanX's EXPLORER CHALLENGE. Perfect for exploring strings of islands with its amphibious hull and landing gear, Sonar, and homing antenna. You can take advantage of the VTOL capabilities for ship-based operation or landing on those hard to reach, tiny islands while also tilting the rotors over and trimming it out to speed at over 250 kts between the larger islands. Once you reach your destination, launch your orange canoe and explore the area by sea... that is, unless you forgot your paddle. By no means is this the most maneuverable aircraft (she requires a gentle touch), but i am sure you will find it versatile. AG1: Position, Anti-collision and Landing lights. AG2: Cargo Ramp (Trim down to open). AG 4: launch the canoe. Suggested Takeoff- VTOL to 80%, Full throttle and then gently mix VTOL forward with aft trim to acheive cruise. Eventually, half-aft trim and 0 degrees VTOL gets you a nice cruise. Good luck, happy exploring.

@BogdanX I understand where you are coming from, hosting a challenge. In the end though, its all for fun, and i suppose fun means different things to different players. still a great forum to appreciate others peoples hard work and creativity
Thanks, @BogdanX. Fun challenge, I will probably have another completely different airplane up by the end of the weekend with the same exploration motif.
