The M8A2 (120) General Burns Light Tank is an expeditionary tank designed by KRIEG. An expeditionary tank is a tank with the mobility of a light tank but the firepower of a much larger main battle tank. As such, it is fitted with a 120mm M9A1S, a shortened variant of the M9A1 gun employed on the M6A7 Ardent. While less potent, it is still sufficiently powerful to engage main battle tanks on reasonable terms. Due to its firepower, it was often employed as tank-hunters.
