This is the Trainer to the infamous P.L.H. Whirlwind. the plane is obviously not as great in preformance as the Whirlwind. the XT is less manuverable, and a lot more wobbly but not to worry it is extreemly easy to recover. the plane has no Airbarkes to rely on, the aircraft is bare bones. These designs are not a mistake they are intended to prepare the pilot for the worst while also preparing for the best. The Speed of the plane at sea level is around 300mph with full load. The planes high altitude preformance is not the best as it is an attacker meant to kill ground units and not bombers. The planes overall preformance is really poor and has a steep learning curve but does have the forgiving factor, if a mistake does happen. you can easily survive, get out of the way, The plane is only as good as the polot itself. The armorment is 2x 7.92mm MG17 machine guns with 6X Rp-2 rockets and 1x S.C. 250kg bomb. this armorment combined with its flight time allows it to be an actual attacker not just for training it can be converted due to its modular design. (I love the idea of "More Engine, less plane")
