This aircraft, the Model 22, was developed specifically with the intent of replacing the antiquated Tulikivi biplane bomber which had been in Suomi's service for far longer than any other aircraft of her generation. While the first model featured a single tail for a wider area of gun coverage from the dorsal turret it caused the aircraft to wobble on the yaw axis during maneuvers which could throw the bombs into the rear props thus the superior twin tails were adapted. The other changes involved changes in powerplant until the Model 24, version 4 was selected for production.

The Tiikiri or Tiger is a fast attack aircraft with a 2,000 Lb bombload that it can precisely deliver at speeds that approach the limits of the standard fighter used by Germania.

In the second phase of the war a series of precise strikes were made against defensive and government related institutions on Bornholm Island as well as military vessels and airships.

One pilot during the course of the campaign distinguished himself by flying through a hail of flak deployed by one of Germania's patroling airships only to lob a thousand pounds of explosives at it as he streaked down and away! (Yes, this can be done, even against fighters that zoom by you in sanbox mode - hit him with two 250 Lb'ers and I got away scot free! lol)

As an attack aircraft it has limited forward offensive weapons, a single 20 mm cannon, positioned above the bomb aimer's glazed nose, slaved to the pilot's control. While the typical method of escape from enemy territory for these pilots is to fly nape of the earth to avoid radar occasionally patrolling fighters can and do catch up to the Tiikiri. Without her bombload she is surprisingly nimble and the inclusion of two defensive turrets makes it a target few Germanian pilots relish the idea of attacking.

CG 1 - Activates the nose cannon.

CG 2 - Activates the defensive turrets, operated via the VTOL slider.

CG 3 & 4 - Releases 2 500 Lb. bombs at a time. Its best to drop them while level and at an altitude of around 1,500 to 500 feet as there is no release force in the pylons used on the Tiikiri. This drastically increases the precision of the bombing method.
