The DIXIE-415-TOWNLSEY-G was a modified variant of the Townsley-A. Built during the 1920s the G variant tested new technology such as more powerful engines and larger propellers. Since 1922 the plane is still used today for personal use as the plane was put out of raf service in 1972 ,50 years later, as the raf was in need of a modern trainer.
