This is Epic Engineering's entry into the Second Global War Fighter Challenge by LegnaK. Here is our description of events depicting the use of this aircraft.

After years of being on the receiving end and taking into account lessons learned from the Battle of Albion, the Nordenvolk Air Force, despite being able to hold off their enemies so far, knew they needed to introduce a new and redundant fighter to maintain air superiority.
The Challenger MkII was a development of concepts provided by a small, private bureau. Taking inspiration from Iosian designs, yet adding old-fashioned redundancies and a powerful engine, the Challenger Mk II stood up to any challenges it faced, all the way from 1943 to the invasion of the continent. Beyond that, it would excel as a strike fighter and serve to the end of the war.
