(Desc:) The most produced and used of the TA series of heavy fighters, used as night fighters, heavy fighters, bomber escorts, scout aircraft, and attackers. As it had a large payload, it was difficult to takeoff, yet in development of the plane, 2 small landing gear were added so the pilot would not be injured. The prototype of the heavy fighter was named the XR-20. So far, only 295 have been produced.
