In 1943, The Focke Wulf FW-211 was created. Based solely on the FW-190 and the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M-Zero, this fighter has four 20 millimeter cannons on the wings, and 7.92 millimeter guns on the front-fuselage. This plane went into testing in late 1943 and was put into service in late 1944. Only 600 were ever made, but still a deadly number nevertheless. This plane was loved by the highest ranking ace pilots of Germany, and never stood back down from it's throne. To this day it is world famous and still talked about around the globe, and will be forever. Here are some pictures retrieved from Germany in the late 40's.
