Thanks to @GalacticaAsia for the original B747-400 The China Airlines Flight 611 crash, also known as the "Penghu Air Crash", refers to the disintegration and crash of a China Airlines passenger plane flying from the then Chiang Kai-shek International Airport in Taiwan to Hong Kong International Airport on May 25, 2002. On that day, a Boeing 747-200 passenger plane numbered B-18255 (old aircraft number B-1866) was performing this scheduled flight, carrying 206 passengers and 19 crew members. It stopped at 23 nautical miles northeast of Magong City, Penghu County. It broke apart and crashed at an altitude of 34,900 feet (approximately 10,640 meters), killing all 225 people on board. It was the deadliest air disaster inTaiwan.
