So... I'll still be making liveries after all.

Okay, so I said last time that I wouldn't be making livery projects any more, but recently I've decided that I'll clear out the remaining livery projects that are still in my builds list. Also, it's just interesting to make aircraft from air crashes.

It's also about time that I bring my fictional airlines to the SP community, so here you go. Comment if you like it!

About Island System Airways

As the RCP entered stability, private companies started taking root in the archipelago. Most notably, new airlines popped up, aiming to compete with the dominant flag-carrier, RCP Airways.

One of these emerging airlines was Island System Airways, known better for its name's acronym, ISA. Founded by Hade Wall in 1983, it started off trying to capitalise on domestic routes, and did so excellently.

However, there are only so many airports in the RCP. Thus, in 1990, ISA launched its first international route to Tenerife South Airport, using a D-01-300. Soon after, more routes to Gibraltar, Spain and Morocco were added. The international routes were a huge success, and ISA only grew wealthier.

Because of ISA's unmatched prices, service and safety, it managed to beat its primary competitors, GoAirways and RCP Express (RCP Airways's regional subsidiary). As a result, GoAirways went bankrupt in 2002, while RCP Express's routes were reduced to a mere handful by 2009, causing many of its staff to be either laid off or reassigned to RCP Airways.

In 2017, in an effort to modernise its fleet, ISA purchased 58 CS300s (now the A220-300s) to replace its D-01-300s and 737-700s. The final A220 was delivered in August 2022, and with it, 49% of ISA's fleet are now A220s. However, ISA still keeps 60 D-01-300s and D-03-100s in service in order to fly its domestic and high-capacity routes.
