Carrier Launched Bomber Drone

101k Kerbango  7.5 years ago

This is a Carrier Launched Bomber Drone.
The drone is cheap to make, easy to store, easy to deploy and easy to fly to the target and armed with 21 Boom fifties it causes destruction with pinpoint accuracy.
Gone are the days of laying down a long line of fire and explosions causing unnecessary civilian damage.
Take off from a carrier or from an airfield. Full throttle and pull back like crazy. Get up and use trim down to elevate to altitude and then proceed to target. (optional: detachers can be attached to the uprights on the end of the wings and the drone can be dropped from a plane.)
Keep trim activated at least a little to slow roll created by the extremely powerful turbine engines.
Once at cruising altitude, the pilot has the choice to reduce speed to 50%-60% to increase manueverability.
Once near the target reduce speed and once over the target power off and deploy chutes using AG 5-6-7. One or all.
Air-to ground and release bombs.
And here the pilot must asses the situation and decide if a kamikaze dive bomb is warranted.
If not: release most bombs, and then make your way to water and activate AG1 for drone pickup.
Warning. once all bombs are dropped the COM gets pulled out of wack and makes it almost impossible to fly; so water ditching or dive bombing is the outcome of this endeavor.
Good luck Pilot.
Drink some coffee after this mission, with your friends on the carrier, because you never left. Ahh technology.
Have fun.

@ProKillaV12 @ZephyrSystems The background explanation: grey plane needed contrast and the red background clashed with the trim color. I really wanted a carrier background. Just imagine that, will ya.
